- Welcome! My husband George and I live in the beautiful state of Michigan on a very small acreage (is almost 2 acres even called acreage?) and absolutely love each beautiful moment out here. Between us we own three home based businesses and I also work outside the home. In my spare time I like to plan menus, cook, write, garden, and play with our little beagle. I had Weight Loss Surgery in August of 2009, and share my experience in an effort to encourage others. George and I are Christians and attend a not too big, but not too small church and enjoy the fellowship of our wonderful church family. Goodness gracious, how many times can I say "I" without sounding like one of "those people"?
